Frequently Asked Questions Holiday Camping

Here you will find frequently asked questions about Corona and tourist accommodations:

I booked during the lockdown, what should I do?

Since the lockdown and the associated accommodation ban due to the emergency brake (when an incidence value of 100 has been exceeded) has been extended until the end of June for the time being, we are forced to cancel all bookings that fall within this period. Please understand that this may take a few days due to the high workload. Little by little we will approach all guests and inform them about the options. You have the following options:

  1. Sending the bank details (with the reservation number) and refunding the amount paid.
  2. Crediting the amount paid and using it at a later date.

If you have chosen one of the options in advance, let us know by mail only.

Is the campsite open for tourists?

No, the lockdown has been prolonged as long as the incidence value of the district of Kleve is above 100 and therefore also the accommodation ban.  You can find the latest information on the BVCD website: read here

What happens to my booking/money in case of a prolonged lockdown or accommodation ban?

In the event of an extension of the current lockdown and the associated accommodation ban, the amount already paid will be refunded to you upon provision of your bank details. You are also welcome to leave the already paid amount as a credit with us and use it with a stay at another time.

Can I cancel free of charge if I have to stay in quarantine?

If there is no quarantine ban and it should not be possible to arrive for private reasons, no free cancellation is possible. In such cases we decide individually and offer to use the already paid amount at another time or to rebook the vacation directly.
